SwarmTribes allows Retail Brands, Record Labels and Good Causes to underwrite the cost of band messaging in return for branding on the bands swarm messageboards and the ability to place promotional taglines in the unused space in text messages (eg “Drink Responsibility”) between the bands and their fans . This is a very precise but non-instrusive way to reach a target demographic who are represented in a bands audience. If you are a casual fan of one or more bands you can use SwarmTribes just to keep in touch with all their latest news and you can even send them your feedback on their gigs and music. If you want to get even more involved with your favourite band you can also apply to join the bands exclusive VIP Fan Tribe where you get rewarded and recognised in exchange for working with the band to promote them and grow their fan base.
