The Sugars release 'Black Friday' on June 16th 2008 through Bad Sneakers Records. Equiped with a new drummer, Alex Lewis, the band have been putting the finishing touches to their forthcoming debut album 'The Curse Of The Sugars' due for release on July 7th 2008. Opening with a machine-gun intro and tubular chimes it makes obvious this is no retro swing. Inspired by live performances from !!! and their own stories on the road, this is a dance record on The Sugars' own conditions. Produced by Will Jackson known for his work with The Cribs & Pigeon Detectives, the trio have found a suitable producer to make their records sound as dark and thrilling as their live shows.

How it all works ...
